AZ LTAP training is only available to persons actively employed by a Local Public Agency (i.e. cities, towns, counties) or an Arizona Council of Government/Metropolitan Planning Organization. This course provides a detailed look at Sections 1 (General Information), 2 (Signing), 3 (Pavement Markings) and 6 (Temporary Traffic Control) of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The training will stress understanding of the MUTCD and its principles, and will cover the following items in detail:
- MUTCD Concepts and Considerations
- Retroreflectivity Standards
- Signage
- Pavement Marking
- Signage/Marking Procurement Fundamentals
