ATSSA Flagger Certified Training
AZ LTAP training is only available to persons actively employed by an Local Public Agency (i.e cities, town, counties) or an Arizona Council of Government/Metro Planning Organization. Members of the general public or persons seeking this training to become employed by such agencies should go to ATSSA: American Traffic Safety Services Association. Purpose: To meet the requirements of Arizona Revised Statute 28-653 for flaggers to have recurrent training every four years covering the knowledge and skills for correct flagging procedures in workzones.
Topics and Objectives: Topics include flagging procedures, correct signing and personal protective equipment, emergency procedures, and the applications where flagging is needed.
Designed for: Maintenance, Traffic, Construction and others who do flagging work as a part of their duties.
Repeat every 4 years by statute.
