Arizona Supplement to the National
"How-to-Develop a Pedestrian Safety Action Plan"

                                       

Would you like to share your transportation experience with other individuals in the transportation industry?
 

Are you a retired Public Works Director or Manager?

 Arizona LTAP is currently seeking full and part-time trainers. 

 

For Full- time employment:

The ideal applicant will have the following qualifications:

·        Preferably have 10 or more years in the transportation industry, preferably with at least 5 years of supervisory experience in a government setting

·        Posses knowledge and experience in Transportation Safety, Work Zone Certification, Traffic Control in Maintenance and Highway Construction, Highway Materials, basic surveying and procedures, communication, supervision, math (pertaining to transportation technologies) and other transportation related areas

·        Excellent verbal and written skills

·        Experience in classroom instruction, techniques and curriculum development

Statewide travel is mandatory

To work as an adjunct trainer:

If you are interested in training one or several of the Road Scholar courses and have at least 10 years of experience in the specific topic area, we would like to hear from you!
