Road Scholar Policies

Steps to register for the Arizona LTAP Road Scholar Program:

  1. Each interested individual must complete the Road Scholar Level I Registration Form. Please check the courses that has been taken that will apply to the Road Scholar Level. The AZ LTAP will verify all courses listed.

  2. Upon completion of the Road Scholar Level I registration form, fax it back to the AZ LTAP at (602) 712-3007.

  3. The AZ LTAP will process the form and confirm each participate against our records, and send a transcript back. If courses were taken from a source other than the AZ LTAP, a certificate of completion must be included with the Road Scholar form.

Policies:

  • All AZ LTAP courses that have been taken since January 1, 1998 that apply to the Road Scholar Program may be credited towards Level I.

  • Certifications from other institutions that were received since January 1, 1998 may be used in substitution for an AZ LTAP Road Scholar I course at AZ LTAP's discretion. There are no substitutions of courses allowed in levels II & III.

  • The participant has 36 months to complete each level of the Road Scholar program at the time of registration into the Road Scholar Program. At the completion of the level, a Road Scholar Certificate will be issued with a gift from the AZ LTAP.

  • The AZ LTAP will keep an updated transcript on every Road Scholar Member and status requests may be called for at any time.

  • The AZ LTAP will mail each individual a transcript biannually depending on the activity of their file.

  • There is no charge to be a Road Scholar Participant. All course charges and "no-show" fees apply.

  • The Road Scholar Program is subject to modifications. All participants will be informed of any change.

  • The Road Scholar Level I form is to be used for first-time enrolling into the Road Scholar Program and to inform the AZ LTAP of any completed courses that were not taken through the AZ LTAP, along with a certificate of completion. The form may not be used as a course enrollment form.

  • Any questions please contact Annie Parris at (602) 712-8461.
